What We Do

None of us are ever finished with issues in our lives until we are at home with the Lord. Lay counseling offers encouragement and healing support to those going through difficult times.

Currently, the Lay Counseling Ministry offers pre-marital, marital and individual counseling. The lay counselors are men and women in our church who have had a least a full year of counseling training and are supervised on a weekly basis by a licensed psychologist. Confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Family counseling is not available at this time.

How It Works

Marital and individual counseling consists of ten one-hour sessions held at the church office at a mutually agreeable time and date. There is a one time charge of $25 for an individual and $40 for a couple.

Pre-marital counseling consists of eight two-hour sessions. There is a one time charge of $125, which covers the cost of all materials. We recommend beginning the counseling process at least four months before the wedding.
