Times for worship, discussion, and teaching from Scripture

Wednesday Nights

7:00 pm in A201

Times for students to introduce non-Christian friends to the church, and to internalize material from Sunday services. Wednesdays usually include three elements: play, corporate worship, and creative application

Trips

Wildwood

Every summer we go on a weeklong trip to Wildwood (Hume Lake’s camp for leadership development). The week helps students cultivate their spiritual lives, and prepares them for future leadership opportunities at WHBC.

Avalanche

Avalanche is our winter snowboarding trip to Big Bear. This trip includes time for instruction in the word and deepening relationships.

Tijuana

Each year, our group takes two weekend mission trips to Tijuana. We undertake construction projects for a few of our sister churches in the area, assist at an orphanage, and serve in other capacities. These trips help develop a missional mindset, as well as compassion for the materially and spiritually needy in other countries.

Recreational Activities

Includes outings to Magic Mountain, Beach Days, etc. These trips allow for fellowship in more casual setttings.

Events

Outreaches

Several times during the school year, The Realm hosts a Friday night outreach at the church. These outreaches provide a place for connecting non-Christians with the church, and also for sharing the gospel.

Service Projects

Throughout the school year and during summer vacation (i.e. June-August), The Realm performs community service projects. Such trips awaken students to the injustices and needs of the community they live in.
