One Way

What We Do

Do you have a “worship disorder”? Are you worshiping yourself and your desires? That must change and real change happens “one way”, through knowing and serving Jesus Christ. We get to know Him through His words. His voice is heard as we seek Him in the Bible. Through being in the Bible, a relationship is fostered and an allegiance is formed. The Bible teaches that “all scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16 & 17). “The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Heb. 4:12).

As we seek the Lord’s guidance, the Holy Spirit is always our primary counselor, and He works powerfully and sovereignly through His word. He brings people to a conviction of sin and to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is through the scriptures that He teaches us how to love God, our neighbors ourselves, to live a life of faith and to be obedient in response to His saving grace. Through the scriptures the Holy Spirit comforts, rebukes, corrects and trains us in righteousness. As a result this people of all ages and from various walks of life are helped; all kinds of personal, marital, and family problems are resolved - and God is glorified.
