What We Do

Overcomers Outreach Inc. was founded by Bob and Pauline Bartosch in 1985. Our mission is to “bridge the gap” between 12-Step recovery groups and churches of all denominations. Addicted individuals and hurting families within the church can greatly benefit from traditional 12-Step support groups dealing with their specific problem. And people in traditional 12-Step groups are seeking God, and can discover their “higher power”in the person of Jesus Christ within an Overcomers group and be guided to a church.

How It Works

Utilizing rotation of leadership and Overcomers Outreach’s simple format, Overcomers gather to study the 12 Steps along with God’s Word (where the Steps originated), to share experience, strength and hope, and to pray for one another. It’s a safe place — no judgment — first names only — anonymity is protected. Besides the “Freed Book” study guide used for every meeting, informational brochures and other appropriate resources are made available.
